Interns Wanted for the May 18 Memorial Foundation 2010 Internship Programme

The May 18 Memorial Foundation invites interested individuals to apply for its  internship programme, a crucial part of the foundation's mandate to promote international solidarity and further the cause of human rights in Asia.

Two interns (one male, one female) for the 10-month programme scheduled from March to December 2010.

Applicants should be single university graduates not more than 30 years of age, with a minimum of three years NGO or social development work experience, not necessarily in the field of human rights. Preference will be given to those with degrees in human rights-related subjects such as social sciences and communication, and to those who have specialised in human rights issues within these disciplines.

Applicants must be computer literate (email/Internet, web page, layout/design, etc) and proficient in English; working knowledge of Korean is an advantage.
